  1. Are you still disappointed in Amir even though the book has ended?

  2. @Jessica I think it represents Amir's guilt for what he said about Raymond, because his dreams often reflect his guilt.

  3. I think that he made mistakes in his past that were wrong but I think he really is a better person

    1. I think it's because it wasn't really anyones fault when Baba got sick, but Amir felt that it was his fault when Sohrab attempted suicide so he prayed.

    2. Maybe because he didn't think it was work, he didn't have hope. His father was sick and their was nothing he could do about it

  5. Do you think that Sohrab will be more open to Soraya and Amir? Why or why not?

    1. Yeah I think so, Amir is his fathers brother, and I'm sure Sohrab misses him and Amir is the closest thing he has to him

  6. Just because that's who you were doesn't mean your going to stay that way

  7. @Nyomi I definitely agree with that. Just because Amir did bad stuff when he was a child, it doesn't mean that he will be bad as an adult

  8. @Dj I agree. I annotated that in my book because it stuck out to me so much

  9. If you were Soraya would you have given up trying to talk to Sohrab?

    1. yes and no, like I understand when someone doesn't want to talk and that it doesn't make that person feel better to have someone always trying to talk to you but at the same time you can't just give up and not talk to them at all. If I was her I would try to make small talk but if he didn't want to talk I wouldn't push it!

    3. It would be really hard to always want children and when you finally get one, he doesn't speak to you. It's not really an excuse to abandon a child, but I can see why she did it

  10. Even though Amir is able to get Sohrab into the United States without having to go through an orphanage, why does he still stay silent for so long?

  11. Yeah, you don't just give up espeically if you are married to somebody like Amir who waited over 30 years to give up, and only did when he earned his nephews trsut

  12. Suicide is just a stupid way of getting away from things, its a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

    1. Okay I get what your saying but suicide is not something you call stupid a majority of the time other people are the reason this person feels so low to take their own life. It's not stupid it is serious and nothing to look down on! We're all bones in the end!

    1. None the less, would you have stopped talking to him?

  14. What do you think would have happened if sohrab was never mute?

  15. @Erin T. That is so true, that they don't even know each other so would it really make an impact on her if something happens to someone she doesn't even know.

  16. I like how Marissa pointed out that Montag and Mildred are not very close. I don't think that Mildred has enough real world experience to connect with what Montag is feeling.
